Zoom just released a new feature for all users for gesture recognition. This new feature has to be enabled in your desktop client. Please follow the instructions from Zoom here. You will also need to update to the most recent version to see this option.
Zoom has added the ability for their Artificial Intelligence software, via your webcam, to detect your face and gestures. As of this publication, the "Raise Hand" and "Thumbs Up" options are available via Zoom. If you enable this feature on your desktop client, then Zoom will recognize when you raise your hand or give a thumbs-up in real life, and will trigger the corresponding emoji reaction.
